This critical pro-life bill would require abortionists to perform and show an ultrasound before any abortion can take place -- giving every mother the chance to see her baby before making a life-or-death decision.
Similar state laws already in place have saved thousands of lives every year -- and abortion rates have dropped dramatically.
But to bring those same life-saving protections to mothers and babies nationwide, we need to build grassroots pressure on Congress right now.

More than 1.4 million unborn babies are killed each year in America; and
A nationwide study showed that 78% of abortion-minded mothers who see a sonogram of their baby ultimately reject abortion and choose life; and
Abortion providers use sonograms to perform abortions yet typically refuse to show the image to the mother unless forced to.
I urge you to work with your Republican colleagues to schedule action and votes, and do all in your power to demand action on the Ultrasound Informed Consent Act.
